Local Business Owner Eifer Lyddane Named to NSBA Leadership Council Washington, D.C. – Eifer Lyddane, Founder and CEO of In Good Company Wellness LLC, Arlington, VA was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small business advocacy organization, and operates on a strictly nonpartisan basis. Lyddane, a recognized leader in the small business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small business advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.
“As a small business owner, every day I see the importance of being actively involved when it comes to laws and regulation,” stated Lyddane. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to be a voice for the small business community in speaking to those who most need to hear it—our lawmakers in Congress.”
With over 15 years experience in the wellness space, Eifer Lyddane founded In Good Company Wellness to promote long-term, sustainable good health and increased overall well being for employees within the workplace. Lyddane’s approach bridges the gap of traditional wellness programs with innovative wellness initiatives and preventive health strategies, which encourages employers to highlight a healthier focus. Through the company’s integrative concept of nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, and stress management programs, companies have seen results ranging from reduced healthcare costs to a happier, more productive workforce.
Lyddane joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of her effort to tackle the many critical issues facing small businesses, including tax policy, regulatory impacts, and healthcare costs—including how the Affordable Care Act affects small businesses. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small business proposals.
“I am proud to have Eifer Lyddane as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “She came to us highly recommended and I look forward to our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
